One of the largest painting I have done so far is this Yellow Pup. Painted based on my adoration for dogs. I can’t exactly identify the breed but this is certainly a terrier - lap dog, cute and portable. Dog lovers out there, you would love to own this piece. Very suitable to cheer up any living space, be it in the bedroom, stairways or living room. And not forgetting your dog’s den. If you hate cats, this can probably scare the furball off. LOL!
This painting is carefully framed with Gold Frame to bring out the color harmony.

One question to ask yourself if you’ve looked at this painting. Can you tell the difference between a sunrise and a sunset? Needless to say, the title says it all. This is sunrise and I am relieved if you can tell. My 16 year-old student could tell me that it is sunrise, and I was really pleased at her intelligence. (Hehehe! I will sweat if she says otherwise). It proves that this painting has conveyed its message well.

This piece is very unique as it requires plenty of patience to draw out the details and plan the sequence for each color application. This is an experiment for me using a different technique. It turned out quite well for a beginner. I am really satisfied with this piece. I copied this painting from a photo of a rare species of locust from a geographic magazine.

This is by far the simplest of all my watercolor painting, due to the spontaneity of this technique. Sketching is required for preliminary, but done in HB pencil, as minimum as possible. The layers of watercolor applications are also limited to at most 3 times only.

This is one of the earlier work in my effort to paint in watercolor. So please don’t be too judgemental on this piece. I am not too pleased with the focus point of this painting, that is the ship itself. However, I did discover some new technique with the background. Shen Zhen, Watercolor
These are some paintings I have been doing in the year 2005. I bought an Easel to enhance my painting experience. Letting the easel to rust in my art studio is a waste. So since I have an easel, with no canvas, I bought canvas, and since I have myself a nice big piece of unprimed canvas, I need to frame it. I bought a frame. A frame need to to have canvas and vice versa, in order for me to start painting. I finally got them fixed together to have a nice piece of framed canvas. Since having a blank canvas, I need to prime it for supportng the Oil Paint. So I bought a bottle of primer and brush to get the canvas primed. Then, lastly, bought a set of high quality Oil Paint, since I want to create a masterpiece, no point buying cheap quality one. Finally, I need to think of something original to paint on it. But I can’t. So I sleep.
In my sleep, I dreamt about something which I really would like to remember. So, I painted it. This is my composition, ‘In Love’. Not exactly the completed version. I had it displayed in Plaza Sri Hartamas, in a cafe. Unfortunately, I did not manage to capture the completed photo as the painting is not with me now.
